This song touched my heart when it came to me in 2008. I recorded it that fall, when I was recording a lot of songs for the first CD (This one isn’t on that CD). It was recorded just with me and guitar “live” in the studio. The recording was very heartfelt and raw (and imperfect). I wasn’t planning on using it. But then later we tried adding Danae Shanti singing with me, and she added a very sweet and soft feel. Then Rick D. Lewis added the flute and other instruments. With their help, and the help of Tony Crank the engineer, to me the song has a sweet, simple heartfulness to it.
