When I uploaded the first video, Sing You a Rainbow, in mid January, I set an unlikely goal to have 1 million Youtube views of these songs by the end of May. That goal was met today. 1,000,000 views! Thanks everyone.

I submitted The Duck Song to itunes today. It will take 3-5 weeks for it to be available. The other songs will be on itunes soon after the CD is done, so hopefully they will be up by mid summer.

The Youtube videos of The Duck Song are still going strong, with over 600,000 views so far. Over 200,000 for mine, plus over 400,000 for Forrest’s after only one week.
It’s fun to hear reports of The Duck Song spreading. Some Youtubers are commenting that their teachers are showing the Duck Song video in class, sometimes to translate into another language, and sometimes just for fun. A few have commented they are using the Duck Song as their ringtone, and that “Everyone at our school walks down the hall going “Got any grapes??”. One person even said they heard the song on the radio in England.

Plugging along with finishing up songs in the studio. Before I could Rhyme is done, I’ll post it soon, and we’re just finishing the last funny song I’m doing for now. Then we’ll switch to finishing up a few soft bedtime songs. Hopefully I’ll be all done within a month or so, and then I can start to get the Song Drops CD ready.

Forrestfire101, who is 14, does popular animation videos on youtube, and he made a video of The Duck Song. He posted it today, and it already has over 10,000 views. Thanks Forrest!

I finished Bob the Snail today, and got the video on Youtube tonight. It’s one of my favorites and it was also a lot of work. Feels good to have it finished.
